Toss Some Caper Back Your Way!

Are you ready for more madcap fun and cheeky chaos, my mate? The Gentlemen's raucous black comedy-drama is set to grace our screens once more, as the quirky crime series returns to Netflix for a second serving of slick debauchery!

Ever since British blue-blood, Eddie Horniman (portrayed by Theo James), inherited the Halstead estate, we've been treated to a wild ride of criminal misadventures. In the first season, we followed Eddie as he navigated the chaos that ensued upon the discovery of a cannabis farm run by Susie Glass (Kaya Scodelario) on his grounds, along with his quest to keep the business (and his loved ones) alive and out of the clutches of danger.

Although it didn't quite crack Netflix's all-time Top 10, "The Gentlemen" was overall well received, and it spent a whopping ten weeks in the streamer's Top 10 charts. So, a ventured return to the Halstead Estate felt like a foregone conclusion, and in August 2024, Netflix unveiled some fantastic news - "The Gentlemen" was making a triumphant comeback!

Put Your Watching Cap on, Mate. What's the Deal With the Return of the Gentlemen?

Unfortunately, we don't have a definite premiere date just yet, but fear not, eager fans! The show was renewed back in August 2024, with confirmation that filming would start in 2025 (per THR). Production on this zany new series recently kicked off, so we shouldn't expect to get our fix of Eddie, Susie, and their antics until at least 2026 at the earliest. Keep those fingers crossed for a juicy update soon!

What's the Score, Mate? What Can We Expect From the Series?

Netflix has dropped a tantalizing synopsis that sheds some light on what we can anticipate:

"It's been a year since Eddie and Susie have partnered up to work together in Bobby's criminal empire overseas. As they strive to grow their network, the decisions that Bobby is making seem to be increasingly risky. Now, Eddie and Susie must decide whether to take action or risk losing it all..."

"The Gentlemen" whizz, Guy Ritchie, offered some intriguing tidbits during a chat with Tudum:

"I am thrilled to return to the set for Season 2 of "The Gentlemen". This installment will witness a purposeful expansion, both geographically and thematically, as we journey from the English countryside to the Italian lakes. Eddie and Susie find themselves facing an influx of enigmatic new players amidst dangerous and volatile circumstances. The stakes are higher, and the power dynamics are thornier. I'm looking forward to collaborating with this remarkable cast and crew once again."
