Updated Lineup of Actors for The Devil Wears Prada 2 Shines Brightly
The long-awaited sequel to the iconic film "The Devil Wears Prada" is finally moving forward, with production officially confirmed and a star-studded cast lined up.
Meryl Streep will be returning to her role as the formidable Miranda Priestly, joined by Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs, Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton, and Stanley Tucci as Nigel Kipling. The original trio will be joined by some familiar faces, including Simon Baker, Tracie Thoms, and Tibor Feldman.
But the excitement doesn't stop there. The new cast members include Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, B.J. Novak, Justin Theroux, Pauline Chalamet, Helen J. Shen, Conrad Ricamora, Caleb Hearon, Rachel Bloom, Patrick Brammall, Sydney Sweeney, and Kenneth Branagh.
Pauline Chalamet, daughter of actor Paul Chalamet, has been announced to bring fresh energy to the cast. Justin Theroux, known for his roles in "Inherent Vice" and "The Leftovers", is another exciting addition. Kenneth Branagh, an Oscar-winning actor and director, will be playing Miranda Priestly’s new husband, adding a touch of glamour to the film.
Rumours suggest that Patrick Brammall, an Australian actor, may be Andy Sachs’ love interest in the sequel.
Filming for "The Devil Wears Prada 2" is currently taking place in New York and Italy, with the release date set for May 1, 2026. This date coincides with the week of next year's Met Gala, adding an extra layer of fashion-forward excitement to the anticipated release.
