Updated Cultural Summer in Wartenberg featuring acts by Django 3000 and Michael Mittermeier with altered schedule

Something thrilling is brewing in the picturesque town of Erding this summer! Wartenberg Cultural Summer is back, bigger, and better than ever, serving up a delightful medley of culture, music, and good old-fashioned fun.
The major highlights of this year's program include:
- Django 3000: Get ready to groove on Saturday, July 12th, atop the serene Nikolaiberg, as the sensational Django 3000 takes the stage. Tickets are already available for pre-sale, with plenty more up for grabs at the box office. The local "Henaheisl" association will cater to your hunger pangs.
- Michael Mittermeier: Just when you think the party can't get any better, the one and only Michael Mittermeier swoops in for a performance, set for the following Wednesday. Similarly, tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the box office if they haven't sold out beforehand. Local association, Auerbach Ski Club, will take care of the grub.
As for the rest of the extravaganza, count on a roaring opening with regional groups like Strogentaler brass band and several ensembles from the folk costume association. The day takes a somewhat electric turn with edgier groups like "Redwater" and "Bird Attack." For the kids, the theater group "Coq Au Vin" will put on a twice-daily performance of "The Heavenly Circus" to keep the little culture connoisseurs entertained.
Now, about the budget for all this fabulousness – seven sponsors from the free economy have chipped in to make this a summer to remember. And, echoing a classic rock ballad, the stage is getting a much-needed upgrade. Care to guess the cost? Around 70,000 euros. No worries, the Bavarian Government's got your back, contributing 23,000 euros, on the condition that Wartenberg matches the amount. The town hall thinks it's a breeze, and they're planning to kickstart a "crowdfunding" campaign with the Raiffeisen Bank's initial contribution of 3,000 euros.
Last but certainly not least, themedieval market begins its three-day reign on July 18th. TSV, Dance United, and the youth community will cheerfully cater to your hunger and thirst. Supported by the "Eisenteufel" group and Michael Knoefler, the market promises to delight with various music performances, an exciting field battle, mesmerizing fire and witch shows, jugglers, and an overall family-friendly atmosphere.
