With a track record of significant contributions, Weidauer boasts headline-making performances, such as scoring a brace in extra time to clinch a 3:1 victory for Werder against Hamburger SV. Over 57,000 fans bore witness to this thrilling cup semi-final showdown.

Originally from the Erzgebirge region of Saxony, Weidauer began her football journey with local clubs, SV Tanne Thalheim and FC Erzgebirge Aue.At the tender age of 12, she joined the youth academy of 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam, making her Bundesliga debut at 17[3].
Whilst at Potsdam, Weidauer became a regular starter, notching 81 Bundesliga appearances and 12 goals[3]. Her subsequent transfer to SV Werder Bremen in 2023 saw her play 49 matches across all competitions, netting 14 goals[5][3]. During the 2023-2024 season, she scored four goals in 21 Bundesliga matches, contributing notably to Werder's journey to the DFB-Pokal final[5][3].
June 2025 marked a new era for Weidauer, as she joined forces with 1. FC Union Berlin[1][4].
