UFC Announces Exciting Lineup for 2025 Events

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has unveiled an action-packed schedule for its upcoming events in 2025, featuring a mix of established stars and rising contenders in major venues worldwide.

UFC Fight Night: Walker vs. Zhang is set to kick off the series on August 23 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China. The main event will see Johnny Walker take on Zhang Mingyang, marking Zhang's first UFC Fight Night headliner against an experienced opponent. Zhang, known for his multiple first-round knockouts, is eager to make his mark in the UFC.

On October 4, UFC 320 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The event will feature a highly anticipated light heavyweight title rematch between Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira, following Ankalaev’s recent title win. The double-header will also include a bantamweight title fight between Merab Dvalishvili and Cory Sandhagen, and Jiri Prochazka vs. Khalil Rountree Jr.

October is a busy month for UFC, with four key events spanning the US, Canada, Brazil, and UAE. This lineup emphasizes UFC's global reach and showcases top-tier talent across weight classes.

UFC Fight Night 261, scheduled for October 11 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will feature a main event yet to be revealed. The following week, on October 18, UFC Fight Night 260 will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with leading bouts expected, including prominent contenders.

UFC 321, scheduled for October 25 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, will feature a heavyweight title fight between Tom Aspinall and Ciryl Gane. The exact main card details for this event are not yet fully confirmed.

In other news, Dricus du Plessis, the UFC middleweight champion, is set to defend his title against Khamzat Chimaev in the main event of UFC 319, scheduled for August 16 in Chicago. This event will also feature a late addition co-main event between UFC debutant Aaron Pico and featherweight contender Lerone Murphy.

Magomed Ankalaev took the light heavyweight title from Alex Pereira seven months ago, and the two will run it back at UFC 320 on October 4 in Las Vegas. Khamzat Chimaev earned his title shot by submitting Robert Whittaker.

Other notable matchups include Diego Lopes vs. Jean Silva in a featherweight match during UFC Fight Night on September 13 in San Antonio, Texas, and Nassourdine Imavov vs. Caio Borralho in a middleweight fight during UFC Fight Night on September 6 in Paris.

UFC Fight Night on October 11 will feature a match between Charles Oliveira and Rafael Fiziev, with the weight class yet to be revealed. The final event of the month, UFC Fight Night on November 22, will take place in Doha, Qatar, with the main event still to be announced.

The action-packed schedule continues with UFC Fight Night on September 27 in Perth, Australia, featuring a light heavyweight match between Carlos Ulberg and Dominick Reyes.
