Rain, snow, and strong winds: Omsk weather forecasters predict a three-day storm.
Officials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Omsk region, citing data from Ob-Irtysh Hydrometeorological Center, have issued a warning to residents about a series of unfavorable weather conditions expected from April 3 to 5, 2025.
"On Thursday, April 3, the north of the region is expected to see light to moderate rain, with wind gusts reaching 15-20 m/s in certain areas," they note.
For Friday, April 4, 2025, precipitation of varying intensity is expected, including heavy rain and wet snow in the south of the region, according to initial forecasts. Wind speeds are also expected to stay high.
Finally, for Saturday, April 5, 2025, nighttime rain and wet snow are forecast, with strong winds of up to 20 meters per second in some areas.
