Upcoming Netflix Releases in August 2025: Five Shows and Movies that Shouldn't Be Missed

August 6 sees the return of Jenna Ortega in "Wednesday" Season 2. The popular series, streaming exclusively on Netflix, finds Wednesday Addams returning to her spooky academy, where a new threat emerges as her brother joins the student body.
If romantic dramas are more your cup of tea, "My Oxford Year" is currently streaming. Set in the picturesque city of Oxford, UK, this heartwarming series tells the story of a whirlwind romance between a young American student and a British man.
August 15 brings the release of "Night Always Comes," a Netflix original thriller starring Vanessa Kirby. The series follows a young woman in debt who embarks on a one-night mission to gather money.
