Dashing Back: Michael J. Fox's Time-Traveling Memoir Arrives This Fall

Upcoming memoirs set for release this fall - Upcoming memoirs slated for release in the autumn season

Catch a ride on the flux capacitor of nostalgia! Michael J. Fox (63), everyone's favorite waffle-loving Marty McFly, is about to drop his latest literary adventure - "Future Boy: A Space-Time Odyssey." The book hops onto bookshelves on October 14, commemorating the 40th anniversary of "Back to the Future."

Listen up, people! Get a peek into the mind of the man behind the legend in this tell-all collaboration with Nelle Fortenberry. The title? You guessed it: "Future Boy: Back to the Future and My Journey Through the Space-Time Continuum." Yes, you heard it right, folks! The countdown is on!

In an exclusive chat with the media darling People magazine, the actor shares his thoughts about the forthcoming publication. According to him, penning the memoir was like stepping into a DeLorean and blasting into the past all over again.

"This tome became my very own time machine," shares Fox about their joint effort. The buzz is real, folks! If you want to join in, hit the books, and ... well, you know, grab a plutonium pseudo-isotope!

The book brings us knee-deep into the thick of the action: 1985, an year bristling with milestones for our star. While the sun was rising on his daily grind as Alex P. Keaton on "Family Ties," our time-traveling hero was clocking his night shifts on the set of the blockbuster, "Back to the Future." In this epic tome, Fox recounts the wild ride of playing two coveted parts at once: A true-blue tale of a man who was living life through a cosmic wind tunnel.

"Time ain't got much on Einstein," the wry genius quips, chuckling at living through the whitewater rafting of 1985. "Maybe even ol' Al might struggle to put it all together during my September-October double whammy! It was crazy, busy - in one word!"

In the pages of "Future Boy," Fox takes a hard look into the mirror and grapples with fundamental questions we all have: "Who am I? I think I've got it figured out." To add to the excitement, the book includes fresh interviews with the cast members from both epic series to weave a never-before-told slice of pop culture history into the narrative.

"This book's my time machine, but unlike the DeLorean, there's plenty of room for all those who want to take a spin," Fox teases, inviting readers to join the journey.

Fourth Time's the Charm

With Parkinson's disease kicking in at the tender age of 29, Fox has proven that true heroes keep fighting. The new memoir marks his fourth literary achievement, following "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future," "Always Looking Up, Lucky Man," and "No Time Like the Future."

In "No Time Like the Future," Fox penned his thoughts on life, love, and the power of resilience in the face of adversity. Keeping the ball rolling, he shares his thoughts on the upcoming book: "What excites me about this new work is its focus on reflection rather than reminiscing - I'm exploring timeless questions that I think we all ask ourselves: Who am I? Where am I? Where am I going? It's a thrilling journey, and I hope I've cracked the code!"

So, are you ready to step into the world of "Future Boy," folks? It's gonna be a blast, and as our man says, "Time to go!" Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for a tumultuous, rollercoaster ride through the annals of time!
