Autumn Releases: Unveiling Fresh Memoirs in the Upcoming Season - Upcoming memoirs set for release this autumn

Hop in the Delorean, not for a whirl through the space-time continuum, but for a literary journey courtesy of Michael J. Fox (63). He's gearing up to release his newest book, "Future Boy: Back to the Future and My Journey Through the Space-Time Continuum", to celebrate the 40th anniversary of "Back to the Future".

The actor, when asked about his memoirs by People Magazine, shares that writing this book has given him a sort of personal time machine. Co-written with Nelle Fortenberry, the book will be available on October 14, according to Flatiron Books' Instagram post.

During this dizzying, exhilarating year of 1985, Fox juggled two of his most iconic roles - Marty McFly in the cinematic blockbuster and Alex P. Keaton on the hit sitcom "Family Ties". Here, he recounts the chaotic, hectic days that saw him racing between soundstages at Paramount and Universal Studios, a whirlwind ride that felt like his own space-time continuum. "The only reason for time is that not everything happens at once. That's not something I said, that's Einstein," laughs Fox. "I wonder if even Albert could make sense of my life in the first months of 1985 when time was crazy and swept me along. How was it? In one word: busy."

In "Future Boy", Fox contemplates big questions: "Who am I? I think I've figured it out." He's also got new interviews lined up with cast members from both projects to add a fascinating twist to the entertainment history that's never been told, as per the book description.

Fox's book can be seen as a reminder for everyone to join the thrilling ride into the past. "This book has become a time machine for me, but unlike the Delorean, there's plenty of room for everyone who wants to join the ride," shares Fox.

Fresh Off the Press: His Fourth Book

A man of many words, Fox is no stranger to penning heartfelt stories. Diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1991, he's also the bestselling author of the memoirs "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future", "Always Looking Up, Lucky Man", and "No Time Like the Future".

In his most recent book, "No Time Like the Future", released in 2020, Fox reflected on his life and work after his Parkinson's diagnosis at the age of 29.

Reflecting on this new memoir, he remarks, "What's exciting for me is that this new book is less memoir and more perspective - I'm looking at questions I think we all have about our lives: Who am I? Where am I? Where am I going? I don't want to give too much away, but I think I've figured it out." So buckle up and hang on tight as we take a rollicking ride through Michael J. Fox's life in "Future Boy: Back to the Future and My Journey Through the Space-Time Continuum".
