Upcoming Golf Major Host Courses for Men and Women: A Look Ahead at the Future Venues
In a thrilling announcement for golf enthusiasts, the schedules for the men's and women's major golf tournaments have been revealed, confirming the continued use of prestigious and historic courses.
Men's Majors
The Masters, held annually at Augusta National Golf Club, Augusta, Georgia, will continue its tradition. The PGA Championship will make a return to Quail Hollow Club, Charlotte, North Carolina in 2025, while the US Open will be held at Oakmont Country Club, Oakmont, Pennsylvania in the same year. The Open Championship, also known as the British Open, will be held at Royal Portrush Golf Club, Northern Ireland in 2025, followed by Royal Birkdale Golf Club, Southport, England in 2026 and St Andrews in 2027. Future venues under consideration for the British Open include Portmarnock, pending feasibility.
Women's Majors
The Chevron Championship will remain at The Club at Carlton Woods, Houston, Texas. The US Women's Open will be held at Erin Hills Golf Course, Wisconsin in 2025, The Riviera Country Club, California in 2026, Inverness Club, Ohio in 2027, Oakmont Country Club, Pennsylvania in 2028, and continuing through 2048 at venues such as Pinehurst, Oakland Hills, Chicago Golf Club, Merion, Pebble Beach, Shinnecock Hills, and The Country Club, Brookline among others.
The KPMG Women's PGA Championship will be held at PGA Frisco, Texas in 2025, Hazeltine National Golf Club, Minnesota in 2026, Congressional Country Club, Maryland in 2027, and returning to PGA Frisco in 2031. The Evian Championship will always be held at Evian Resort Golf Club, Evian-les-Bains, France.

The US Women's Open will be held at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club in Village of Pinehurst, North Carolina in 2029, followed by Oak Hill Country Club (East Course) in Rochester, New York in 2037.
