Upcoming events in New York City in June include the Governors Ball and 30 additional shows featuring The Weeknd.

Experience an exciting musical journey in New York City next June, as the city hosts a plethora of concerts from renowned artists, free events, and vibrant festivals.

Beginning on the 1st of June, the Rooftop at Pier 17 commences its 2025 season, offering a diverse lineup of artists spanning R&B to country. Among the noteworthy acts are Tennis on the 1st, James Arthur on the 25th, and 311 on the 29th. The outdoor stage and breathtaking skyline view further enhance the experience (See the full 2025 lineup).

Simultaneously, Central Park's SummerStage Concert Series brings over 80 free and benefit shows to 12 city parks across the five boroughs. The lineup for June includes Astropical with YEINDRY on the 1st, Marcus Miller, Tank and the Bangas, and The Soul Rebels on the 4th, among others (Discover some of the June lineup and full schedule).

For dance music enthusiasts, Teksupport is hosting a rooftop series called "Sunset Park Rooftop Series," featuring some of the hottest dance house and techno labels. Shows will take place at various rooftops, outdoor venues TBA, and their Brooklyn Storehouse headquarters (See the lineup).

Knockdown Center shows will also be in full swing, featuring international house and techno, NYC artists, and more. Additionally, the outdoor stage "Ruins" will open, kick-starting a summer of live music (Learn more).

Gray Area events will get music-lovers moving and grooving with some of the most exciting up-and-coming house DJs (Get moving and grooving).

As for major concerts, Paul Simon, Hauser, and Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Back In Concert are scheduled to perform, with specific venues yet to be announced. The New York Philharmonic, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Hugh Jackman From New York, With Love, Amateur Night At The Apollo, Gipsy Kings, Yandel Sinfónico Tour, The Driver Era: Obsession Tour, Marcus Miller, Tank and the Bangas, The Soul Rebels, The Aussie BBQ, BRIC Celebration Brooklyn's 3rd Annual Juneteenth in the Park, Habibi Festival at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn, Buscabulla | Chuwi | Paso Negro, and A Tribute to Quincy Jones: The Greatest Night in Pop are also part of the June lineup.
