Upcoming Event: "Worms: Jazz & Joy"
The Jazz & Joy music festival is set to take place in Worms, Germany, from August 15th to 17th, 2025. This three-day event promises an exciting lineup of performances, attracting music lovers from far and wide.
Cyclists can enjoy designated parking in Andreasstraße, making it convenient for them to attend the festival. For those arriving by car, municipal parking garages in Worms will offer parking for 4 euros during the festival weekend at Tiefgarage "DAS WORMSER", Parkhaus "Am Theater", and Parkhaus "Am Dom". However, please note that the "Park + Ride" parking garage at the main station will be closed during the festival.
Visitors should expect bag and backpack searches, as well as "body checks" at all three festival days for security reasons. Dogs are not allowed on the festival grounds due to noise levels and crowd density.
Tickets for the festival can be purchased at www.jazzandjoy.de, the TicketService Worms, and all known presale outlets of Ticket Regional. Daily festival tickets are 33 euros each during the presale, while three-day passes for Friday to Sunday are 56 euros in presale. Special concert tickets with Kool & The Gang are available for 68 euros until the presale ends.
The festival's info stand, located below the stairs on the south side of the cathedral (Andreasstraße), offers program flyers, buttons, free blank wristbands for children, earplugs, rain capes, and a photo box. Discount vouchers with QR codes will be available at the info stand for parking in the mentioned parking garages.
The festival grounds will be closed to traffic around the festival area from August 15th to 17th. The Andreasstraße, the street along the Volksbank to the Neumarkt, the Petersstraße along the market square, and the Stephansgasse will be temporarily closed to traffic during this period.
The schedule for each day is packed with exciting performances. On Friday, August 15th, the lineup includes Paul Scheugenpflug Quartett, Anke Helfrich Trio, Yara, and Kolibri. On Saturday, August 16th, the line-up features DJ Support Special Concert - DJ Ubbo Gronewold, Kool & The Gang Special Concert (Extra Ticket Required), Gabriele, Judith Hill, Eypa, Aboubakar Traoré & Balima, Nomfusi, The Offbeat Service, Tropikel Ltd., and Maier-Hauff//DeRungs.
On Sunday, August 17, visitors can look forward to De Beren Gieren, Emma Rawicz INKYRA, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, Indigo Mac Carpet, The Planetoids, Julie Kuhl, Stjerne, Latvian Blues Band, Level 42, LuxOnions & Friends, Dirik Schilgen JazzGrooves, Viviane de Farias, Kat Eaton, and ClockClock on the Volksbank Stage. Tango Transit, Black Flower, and Julie Kuhl will also perform on this day.
Notable acts include Kool & The Gang, who will perform on August 15th, with their setlist featuring hits like "Open Sesame," "Fresh," "Misled," "Too Hot," and "Jungle Boogie". Black & White September, who won the festival's band voting, will be co-headliners on August 18th at the RENOLIT-Bühne, along with Leonardo Visioli, Antje Schomaker, EYPA, BRTHR, THEODOR, and NAFT.
Please note that drinks will be served in reusable cups only on the marketplace on Sunday, August 17. Also, professional camera equipment is not allowed for filming or photography on the festival grounds.
