Upcoming Clash Between Marvel Comics and the Predator for their Next Intellectual Property
Hey there! Marvel Comics characters are stepping up their game with a series of epic showdowns against some formidable foes. The Alien and Godzilla aren't the only ones they'll be squaring off against - the Predator is joining the rank!
It all starts with the five-issue series, "Predator Kills the Marvel Universe," penned by Ben Percy, who's previously worked on the "vs. Spider-Man" storyline. This tales sees a Predator King taking on the Marvel universe's heroes and villains, with stealth, surprise, and terror as his weapons of choice.
Speaking to IGN, Percy teased some major twists, promising that the Predator will leave no stone unturned in his hunt. "Your favorite heroes and villains will fall - even as others rise up against this extinction-level event," hehinted.
It turns out the teleporting Vibranium stolen by the Predator in "vs. Black Panther" will be a game changer, leveling the playing field for the Predator King against the likes of Spider-Man, the X-Men, and many more. The final issue of the Spider-Man crossover will make this crystal clear.
Percy promised a jaw-dropping conclusion, so buckle up, because it looks like we're in for a game-changing roller coaster ride. "Every character is on the chopping block. No one's safe, and we're not holding back, so armor up."
The first issue of "Predator Kills the Marvel Universe" drops on August 13.
