Upcoming City Run in Bützow Catering to Various Participants
Bützow City Run Returns for Its 19th Edition
The small town of Bützow, located on the Warnow, is gearing up for its annual city festival, which includes the Bützow City Run. This year marks the event's 19th edition and the 8th time it is being organized by Michael Kruse, a passionate triathlete and cyclist.
Michael Kruse, born in 1966, has dedicated himself to promoting running, swimming, triathlon, cycling, and charity events. As the organizer of the Bützow City Run, he is using this platform to invite runners and walkers of all ages to participate in the upcoming event.
The festivities kick off on August 31, with the Bambini run, a 200-meter race for the little ones, starting at 9 a.m. Following this, the children and school run (1.8 kilometers) begins at 9:15 a.m. The popular company relay run (4 x 900 meters) follows the children's run.
For those looking for a longer challenge, the 5.4-kilometer run or walk starts at 10:15 a.m., and the main event, a 10.8-kilometer run, also starts at the same time.
Registration for the Bützow City Run can be done via www.tollense-timing.de. As of now, there are currently 100 registrations for the event, with last year's participation reaching around 200 runners.
Before embarking on his overseas competitions, Michael Kruse will manage the Bützow City Run. After the events in late September, he usually goes to a training camp. In November and December, his competitions are abroad.
Despite his busy schedule, Michael Kruse's own event company keeps him busy and he does not have as much time for participating in events as he used to. However, his passion for running and event organization shines through in the Bützow City Run, making it a must-attend event for runners and walkers alike.
Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in Michael Kruse's Bützow City Run, a platform for promoting running activities in the small town of Bützow. The upcoming event, marking its 19th edition, includes a variety of sports ranging from short races for children to longer challenges for adults.
