Upcoming Bob Odenkirk Action Film: Release Date, Trailer, Star-Studded Cast, Synopsis, and All the Latest Details
After the critical acclaim of "Nobody" (2021), the sequel is set to hit theaters this summer, promising a thrilling blend of action and family drama.
Bob Odenkirk reprises his role as Hutch Mansell, a suburban husband, father, and workaholic assassin, who is still paying off a debt of $30 million to a criminal organization. Four years have passed since the events of the first film, and Hutch's personal life has suffered as a result. His relationship with his wife Becca, played by Connie Nielsen, and their children has become strained, leading them to take a much-needed vacation.
The family chooses Wild Bill's Majestic Midway and Waterpark, a nostalgic spot from Hutch’s childhood, located in the small tourist town of Plummerville. However, their peaceful getaway is disrupted when a minor conflict with local bullies entangles them with a corrupt theme-park operator, a shady sheriff, and the most unhinged crime boss Hutch has ever faced, played by Sharon Stone.
Directed by Timo Tjahjanto, "Nobody 2" delves deeper into Hutch’s past and his family, revealing secrets about Becca as well. The film explores the struggle Hutch faces in balancing his dangerous profession and family life, adding depth to the high-octane action sequences.
The cast also includes new additions Colin Hanks, John Ortiz, and Sharon Stone. "Nobody 2" is produced by Odenkirk, Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, Marc Provissiero, and Braden Aftergood.
Universal Pictures, 87North, Eighty Two Films, and Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment are the production companies behind "Nobody 2". The film received "Certified Fresh" and "Verified Hot" ratings on Rotten Tomatoes for its predecessor.
"Nobody 2" is scheduled for release on August 15, 2025. The release will be exclusive to movie theaters in the US, UK, and other locations. With its action-packed plot and emotional family dynamics, "Nobody 2" is one of the most anticipated blockbuster movies of the summer movie season.
