New Misha Mansoor Juggernaut 7-string Guitars Now Available

Jackson and Misha Mansoor, the renowned guitarist of the progressive metal band Periphery, have expanded their signature collection with three new 7-string guitars: the Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P.

The Juggernaut HT7 comes in Signal Yellow and Silverburst Sparkle, while the HT7P features a poplar burl veneer finish in Chlorine Burst. Both models are priced at £1,099 for the regular HT7s and £1,149 for the HT7P.

The key features and specifications of these guitars include a 26.5" scale length, optimized for extended range and string tension. The necks are crafted from caramelized maple, reinforced with carbon fibre rods for durability, and topped with a 20" radius ebony fingerboard. The fingerboard is equipped with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side markers for low-light visibility.

The guitars are equipped with Mansoor's MM1 electric guitar pickups, high-output passive humbuckers designed in collaboration with Mansoor. The wiring setup includes a 5-way blade selector switch, master volume and tone control with a push/pull function.

Interestingly, while some Misha Mansoor Juggernaut 7-string models include the EverTune F7 bridge for advanced tuning stability, others use a Jackson HT6 hardtail bridge likely to optimize tone and simplicity. Mansoor himself uses an EverTune bridge for recording but prefers a good hardtail bridge for the best sound.

In summary, the Juggernaut HT7 and HT7P models offer a versatile tonal range, superior playability, and the option for mechanical tuning stability with the EverTune F7 bridge or direct string-to-body contact with the Jackson HT6 hardtail bridge.
