Uncertainty looms for the shared future between Bayern and their leader, Dreesen, as he insists, "I'll keep you posted." - Unveiling the Potential Developments Regarding Woltemade's Prospects

In the ongoing saga of the transfer of striker Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart to FC Bayern Munich, the clubs have yet to hold a confirmed meeting to discuss the potential move. This, despite the fact that Bayern Munich's training ground is just an hour's drive away from Stuttgart's current training camp at Tegernsee.

Max Eberl, the sporting director of Bayern Munich, finds himself practically on the doorstep of the Stuttgart training camp, which could provide a convenient location for negotiations. However, Jan-Christian Dreesen, the CEO of Bayern Munich, has remained cautious and non-committal regarding the transfer. He confirmed that Bayern made an offer, but so far it “hasn't led to any discussions” with Stuttgart, and Woltemade remains a Stuttgart player at present.

Dreesen, who was speaking at the opening of a special exhibition celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Allianz Arena in the club museum of Bayern Munich, emphasized that he does not like to talk about players from other clubs. Fabian Wohlgemuth, the sporting director of VfB Stuttgart, has stated that Woltemade has a very high probability of remaining with the club for the new season.

Reports indicate that while Woltemade wants to join Bayern this summer, no definitive written offer has been made by Bayern, and Stuttgart has not set a final asking price. Bayern’s management appears open to further talks but is holding off on a third bid as of late July 2025.

The transfer tussle for Woltemade is not described as hardened fronts by Dreesen. Instead, he views it as a complex and sometimes "crazy" industry, considering some aspects as abnormal. The summer transfer window remains open until 31 August, and it remains to be seen if Bayern will make another bid for the striker.
