The Great British Sewing Bee 2025 is back, and this year, internationally acclaimed designer Eudon Choi will be joining the judging panel as a guest judge for Korea Week.
Eudon Choi, a South Korean-born designer known for his sophisticated and wearable styles, will be lending his expertise in tailored womenswear to the competition. Choi is a key figure in contemporary fashion, with his brand celebrated globally for its reflection of South Korean heritage and sharp sense of contemporary style.
On the Korea Week episode, Choi will be collaborating with regular judges Esme and Patrick to evaluate the contestants' creations based on creativity, skill, and design. This episode will showcase the contestants' ability to create highly stylish and innovative garments, sometimes incorporating unique materials and techniques inspired by Korean culture.
Choi's appearance on the show also highlights Korean cultural influence on global fashion, as Korea Week celebrates Korea’s impact on culture and style worldwide.
Outside of The Great British Sewing Bee, Choi's designs have been worn by celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Michelle Obama. In 2017 and 2018, he collaborated with John Lewis's Modern Rarity line. Choi's brand, Eudon Choi, launched in 2009.
Eudon Choi's personal style can be described as "subtle yet interesting." He is passionate about blending the masculine with the feminine to create timeless pieces. Choi lives in a Hoxton flat in East London and is a proud owner of a miniature schnauzer named Barney.
