The new playground in Mainz breaks the mold with wheelchair-friendly fall protection made of rubber instead of the traditional sandpit, multiple entrances and exits, and ramps of various heights.
The "Piece of Happiness" initiative launched in 2018, and their genius money-raising scheme is a cent from each P&G product bought at Rewe. Since inception, thisstrategy has raked in a cool 3.6 million euros, resulting in 55 inclusive playgrounds, and the Mainz playground marks their latest achievement.
