Unveiled: Launch Date for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Set
In the upcoming releases of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, players are in for an exciting adventure. Each game introduces a new professor to guide you through the region. In Scarlet, you'll meet Professor Sada, while in Violet, you'll encounter Professor Turo. Each professor is deeply invested in researching the lore passed down in their respective regions.
The games, the first open-world RPGs in the Pokémon series, offer a vast world to explore. Koraidon and Miraidon, the new Legendary Pokémon, are central to the storyline. These titles also introduce a host of new Pokémon to discover.
One such Pokémon is Fuecoco, a Fire-type Pokémon categorised as a Fire Croc Pokémon. It weighs 21.6 lbs and stands at 1'4". Fuecoco's ability is Blaze, which boosts its Special Attack when it's at low health. Quaxly, a Water-type Pokémon and a Duckling Pokémon, is another new addition. Quaxly's ability is Torrent, which increases its speed in battle when its health is low. Both Pokémon have unique abilities that add an extra layer of strategy to battles.
Pawmi, a new Electric-type Pokémon, stands out with its electricity-discharging organs on its forepaws. Sprigatito, a Grass-type Pokémon, has the ability to release a sweet aroma that can mesmerize others when it kneads and rubs with its forepaws.
Smoliv, a peculiar Pokémon, stores oil in the fruit on its head. It uses this oil to defend itself, shooting it out when startled or attacked, slowing its opponent down. Lechonk, with its strong aroma that Bug-type Pokémon dislike, uses its sense of smell to find and eat fragrant wild grasses and rich Berries.
The retail versions of these games feature cover art showcasing Koraidon and Miraidon. The packages themselves have a design similar to old books, evoking a sense of a new story waiting to be uncovered.
Players can embark on this journey solo or with friends, as these games allow up to four players to explore the various locations of the region together. Digital pre-orders for the games are now available on the Nintendo eShop. The Pokémon games, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, are set to launch on November 18, 2022.
In addition to the new professors and Pokémon, players will be accompanied by a new character named Nemona, who serves as a friend and reliable guide throughout the games. The character who acts as a leader and supposedly reliable travel guide in Genshin Impact is the "Traveler."
With these new additions, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet promise an exciting and immersive experience for Pokémon fans and newcomers alike.
