New leaked audio reveals Abrego Garcia's alleged ongoing domestic violence against his wife
Unveiled Immigrant Arguments Falter as Disturbing Profile of Abrego Garcia Surfaces
Hell's bells, it looks like the cat's out of the bag once again as more evidence of Abrego Garcia's alleged abusive behavior towards his wife surfaces. National Border Patrol Council President Paul Perez drops by 'America Reports' to discuss the latest developments in the case of deported migrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia, including the leaked audio accusations of physical and mental abuse against his wife, and the on-going support from Democratic lawmakers for this piece of work.
Democrats continue to stick their necks out for an illegal immigrant they've labeled as a poster child in the fight against President Trump's mass deportations. Abrego Garcia was deported to El Salvador in March and has been locked up in the notorious CECOT prison, home to violent gang members. The Trump administration has repeatedly brought up court and police documents showing that Abrego Garcia was not only in the U.S. illegally but also connected to the MS-13 gang. His wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, detailed the alleged abuse in a protective order filing in August 2020.
Ain't that a kick in the teeth, Paul? Democrats have been shoving this guy as a family man and Maryland resident, but he's nothing more than a domestic abuser and a gang affiliated illegal immigrant. Cowboy boot to the face, I tells ya!
Sen. Chris Van Hollen led the Democrat charge to El Salvador after Abrego Garcia was deported and locked up. He advocated for his release, claiming the deportation risks "the constitutional rights of everyone who resides in the United States of America." Other left-wing lawmakers followed suit, including Reps. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona, Maxine Dexter of Oregon, Maxwell Frost of Florida and Robert Garcia of California. At one point, Dexter even threatened to remain in El Salvador until Abrego Garcia was brought back to the U.S.
But with the release of the leaked audio, Democrats have gone about as quiet as a church mouse. They call bullshit on the allegations, but ain't nobody buying it. Abrego Garcia's wife has publicly defended him, claiming the protective order was filed out of caution following a disagreement that didn't escalate. "After surviving domestic violence in a previous relationship," she said, "I acted out of caution following a disagreement with Kilmar by seeking a civil protective order, in case things escalated. Things did not escalate, and we were able to work through the situation privately as a family, including by going to counseling."
Republicans and conservatives have come out in full swing, condemning the Democrats for supporting an alleged gang member, human trafficker, and domestic abuser. They argue that Democrats would never show this much support for "angel moms" who have lost loved ones due to illegal alien crime.
"I think it's bizarre that you see these Democrat politicians making a pilgrimage down there ... to sit there with this guy, because I never have seen those Democrat politicians meet with angel moms who've lost kids because of illegal alien crime," Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis told our website.
The Trump administration has even designated violent gangs such as MS-13 and Tre de Aragua as terrorist organizations.
Still, Democrats argue that the Trump administration has been acting with a lack of due process in Abrego Garcia's case. California Sen. Alex Padilla told CNN that Democrats are more focused on Abrego Garcia's due process and ensuring he receives a fair court battle, and not on the individual.
"I think our advocacy here has a little bit less to do with him individually and more the process," Padilla said. "The lack of due process that this administration continues to act with. The laws are clear in this country, even if you are undocumented, you have the right to due process."
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries called on Democrats last week to slow down their visits to El Salvador and tone down their comments regarding Abrego Garcia. But his office denied that he made such a request to colleagues.
The debate continues to rage on, with no end in sight. The case of Abrego Garcia has become a flashpoint in debates over immigration enforcement, gang-related crime, and executive branch accountability. Keep your eyes peeled, because things are bound to get interesting from here.
