Unsolved Mysteries on Usedom Island: "Usedom-Krimi" Investigates a Series of Deceased Canines
In the picturesque island of Usedom, the central character of the popular German crime drama, Prosecutor Karin Lossow, finds herself embroiled in a new case. This time, Lossow is unwillingly drawn into a criminal investigation involving the deaths of three puppies and the disappearance of Fabienne Leppin's mother, Jana.
Lossow, who returned to Usedom in 2014 after serving a prison sentence for the murder of her husband, is no stranger to intertwining her personal life with her investigations. This pattern continues in the upcoming episodes, with Lossow's character development and involvement in new plotlines being actively planned.
The upcoming episodes, titled "Friedhof der Welpen" (Cemetery of Puppies) and "Geburt der Drachenfrau" (Birth of the Dragon Lady), indicate that Lossow's character will delve deeper into her personal life, including her new home on the island. In these episodes, Lossow is discovered during a walk and becomes involved with the construction site of her future residence on Usedom.
Lossow is currently building a new house with the help of carpenter Joern Scherer and his daughter Lara. Interestingly, Lara offers temporary accommodation to Lossow in their vacation apartment. Lossow gets along well with both Joern and Lara, but Lara has a troubled history with Ivo Klose, an eccentric character in the series who has served time for manslaughter and becomes a suspect in the case.
Lara, who has scars from a dog attack in her childhood, suffers from the scars on her face and the remarks of others. Fabienne Leppin, Fabienne's mother who is reported missing, is doing a survival training in the forest with Ivo Klose.
The "Usedom Crime" series, airing on One, continues to captivate its audience with its raw, frosty atmosphere and intriguing plotlines. The series is set to air the "Cemetery of Puppies" episode on August 2nd at 8:15 PM.
In a recent ARD interview, Katrin Sass, the main actress, expressed a desire for the series to continue as long as the audience wants to see it and for Karin Lossow's life not to become too ordinary. The series creators share this sentiment, hoping to keep the character of Karin Lossow interesting and engaging for the audience.
In the upcoming episodes of "Usedom Crime," titled "Friedhof der Welpen" and "Geburt der Drachenfrau," Lossow's character will delve deeper into her personal life as she deals with the construction of her new house and her association with Ivo Klose, a suspect in the case. Lossow's French co-star, Fabienne Leppin, whose mother is reported missing, is found to be involved in entertainment activities like survival training.
