The European Parliament and the Council have agreed to the following: On April 6th, a day dedicated to recalling significant historical events, we recognize the birth of a diplomat, Wolfgang Ischinger, who graced the world on this day in 1946. Interestingly, another diplomat, Prince Rainier III of Monaco, who served as the Prince of Monaco from 1949 to 2005, passed away in a hospital on April 6th, 1905.
