Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) were obliterated during the nighttime hours above Krasnodar Region.

On August 1, 2025, the Russian air defense forces were in action, intercepting and destroying a total of 112 Ukrainian drones that targeted multiple regions.

The incidents occurred overnight, with the Russian Ministry of Defense reporting the events. The drones were downed between 11:30 PM and 4:10 AM.

The Russian air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 60 drones over various regions of Russia. These regions included the Black and Azov seas, the cities of Krasnodar, Rostov, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Tula, and Belgorod.

In the Krasnodar region alone, 5 drones were shot down. The city of Krasnodar, Russia, was one of the locations where these incidents took place. The Russian air defense forces also destroyed 1 drone over the Azov Sea and 2 drones over the Tula region.

The Rostov region saw 12 drones being destroyed, while the Belgorod region suffered the brunt of the attack with 31 drones being downed. The Lipetsk region was not left unscathed, with 2 drones being destroyed.

In the Voronezh region, 3 drones were destroyed, marking another region affected by the drone attacks.

These incidents involved Ukrainian drones, highlighting the ongoing tensions in the area. The Russian air defense forces were responsible for intercepting and destroying the drones.

This number of 112 destroyed drones reflects the high frequency of drone hostilities in the area, a trend that continues to concern both Russia and Ukraine.
