Unlicensed 16-year-old crashes car while drunk, injuring three in Austria

A 16-year-old, without a driver's license, caused a car crash in Wulkaprodersdorf, Burgenland, early Tuesday. The crash left three people injured and two teenagers fleeing the scene. The teenager, who lives in the region around Rohrbach-Berg and Ulrichsberg, was driving on a farm track when the accident occurred. A breathalyzer test confirmed he was over the alcohol limit. The crash resulted in injuries for the driver and two passengers. Two of the youths, instead of waiting for police, left the scene and sought treatment at a hospital in Eisenstadt. The Wulkaprodersdorf fire department later recovered the crashed car. The 16-year-old driver, who was not licensed, caused the crash while under the influence of alcohol. Three people were injured, and two fled the scene before police arrived. The car was later retrieved by the fire department.
