Unlawful Track Unveiled: Gufa Faces Potential Financial Penalties
In a recent concert at the Fetisov Arena in Vladivostok, Russian rapper Alexei Dolmatov, known as Guf, took the stage and performed the banned track "For Those Who Are With Us." However, during his performance, he only sang the censored parts of the song.
The performance was reported by Telegram channel Mash, which also noted that the concert organizers may face fines between 800,000 and 1,000,000 rubles, or a work ban of up to 90 days, for promoting drugs.
The track "For Those Who Are With Us" was banned by Roskomnadzor, Russia's federal service for supervising communications, information technology, and mass media, in early August. The ban was imposed on the track by rappers Basta, Guf, and Vitya AK-47 due to alleged drug promotion.
Guf, in his performance, expressed his hope for the audience's support during the performance of the banned track. Despite the censorship, the concert seemed to be well-received by the audience.
It is important to note that, as of the latest information available, no publicized official fines or work bans have been reported regarding Guf or the concert organizers in connection with the performance of this banned song. However, the situation is evolving rapidly, and it is advisable to monitor official Russian regulatory announcements or credible news outlets for the very latest developments.
