Berkeley-Mystery substance spills in Rudow: Fire department operation
A perplexing substance has seeped from a waste management facility's premises in Berlin's Rudow district. Three individuals were transported to the hospital, as the Berlin fire department revealed on their social network platform, X (formerly Twitter). The area surrounding the waste management facility has already been cordoned off, and the adjacent canal road between Mistelweg and Salbeiweg has been blocked off, according to a representative from the Berlin fire department. The fire department currently has 60 firefighters on the scene, and no threat to the general public has been reported.
The Berlin police's Forensic Task Force, a specialized team handling biological, chemical, or radiological hazards, has also joined the fire department's operation, reportedly by the fire department's spokesperson. The substance apparently escaped during the delivery of waste, and the team is now working to determine its identity.
