University Orchestra of HHU Düsseldorf invites attendees to the concluding performance of the academic year
The University Orchestra of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf is set to captivate audiences with a performance of two emotionally charged pieces: Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Violin Concerto in E minor op. 64 and Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 1 in D major.
The performances will take place on two consecutive dates. On Friday, January 24, 2025, at 8 PM, the orchestra will grace the stage at Erholungshaus Leverkusen, Nobelstraße 37, 51373 Leverkusen. Tickets for this performance are priced at 12 Euro.
A week later, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, the orchestra will perform at Tonhalle Düsseldorf, with the exact location within Düsseldorf to be announced. Once again, the ticket price remains at 12 Euro.

Mahler's Symphony No. 1, also characterized by deep emotional expression, consists of four distinct movements. The ensemble's strength, now numbering over 100 members, with a reinforced string and brass section, promises a powerful rendition of this complex symphony.
