Sources close to the deal reveal that Bharti Real Estate, part of Sunil Mittal's entrepreneurial empire, is currently in discussions with Universal Studios to establish the latter's much-awaited Indian debut, according to The Economic Times.
The forthcoming theme park is expected to be an indoor spectacle, skillfully designed within this soon-to-be-built mall, anticipated to be India's largest, nestled near the Delhi airport. Bharti Enterprises is set to lease approximately 300,000 sq ft of this mall to host the amusement park.
SK Sayal, the Bharti Real Estate CEO, revealed, "We've earmarked 10% of our total leasable area for a globally renowned entertainment park." The mall is anticipated to be ready by mid-2027.
