In the galaxy far, far away, the Lego Star Wars universe is gearing up for an exciting new adventure with the release of the upcoming show, "Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past." This spin-off series, available for streaming on Disney Plus from September 19, is set to break the norms of the Star Wars rulebook or timeline.

According to an article by writer and executive producer Benji Samit, the show brings together Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, and Leia Organa for the first time. This unique family reunion may be the only opportunity to see all four Skywalkers interacting as a family unit.

However, the show doesn't stick to the traditional Star Wars narrative. In Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past, Anakin Skywalker, the father of Luke and Leia, is depicted as evil before the twins were born. This twist, along with the show's exploration of characters in situations that would never be seen in the live-action Star Wars universe, adds a fresh and unconventional twist to the Star Wars saga.

One of the most memorable scenes in film history shows Luke meeting his father, Anakin, but by that point, Anakin had turned into something completely different. In this Lego adaptation, viewers will witness an alternative narrative, where the Skywalker family dynamics are explored in a different light.

The introduction of Padmé Amidala, the mother of Luke and Leia, is described as a fun and creative way. The show's creators aim for a Lego-ish take on pirates for Padmé's introduction, connecting her story to a significant part of Star Wars - pirates.

Sadly, Padmé died shortly after giving birth to twins Luke and Leia in the Star Wars universe. As a result, Luke and Leia never really knew their mother. The upcoming season 2 of Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past promises to offer a unique perspective on Padmé's life and her relationship with her children.

In addition to the upcoming Lego Star Wars spin-off, there are several other Star Wars movies and TV shows in the pipeline. Fans of the franchise can look forward to more exciting adventures in a galaxy far, far away.

Tony Revolori, who voices Dev Greebling in the series, stated that Lego Star Wars fits "nowhere and everywhere" on the timeline. This statement encapsulates the spirit of the Lego Star Wars universe - a place where anything is possible, and where the rules of the Star Wars timeline can be bent and broken.

So, gear up for an exciting journey through the Star Wars universe like never before. Tune in to Lego Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: Pieces of the Past, available for streaming on Disney Plus from September 19. May the Force be with you!
