The initial smackdown takes place on May 17, followed by round two on May 19. The parties will go down at the illustrious Sharjah Cricket Stadium with the first pitch at 7:00 PM local time.
These two teams last entangled themselves in Dubai back in September 2022, with Bangladesh sweeping the series 2-0. They'll be gearing up for a five-match T20I series in Pakistan as they gear up for the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup, jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

UAE vs BAN 2025 T20Is: Teehee, news and nuisances
The UAE have given three ambitious, inexperienced players, namely Ethan D'Souza, Matiullah Khan, and Haider Ali, a shot at glory. After relinquishing his T20I captaincy role in October last year, Muhammad Waseem has been reinstated as the boss. Vriitya Aravind, Basil Hameed, and Junaid Siddiqui, among others, are notable casualties.
Bangladesh has fielded a 16-strong squad for the tour, with Litton Das taking the reins as captain from Najmul Hossain Shanto, who remains in the mix. Several pals, including Towhid Hridoy, Tanvir Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, and Shoriful Islam, have rejoined the team after skipping December's West Indies series.
Litton formerly served as an acting captain during previous excursions, leading Bangladesh to an impressive 3-0 whitewash on foreign soil. He will command the team until the 2026 T20 World Cup, disclosed Bangladesh cricket operations chairman Najmul Abedin.
