UnionBank has teamed up with INSEAD to launch the ASCEND Program, a multi-year initiative aimed at bolstering the capabilities of its Relationship Managers (RMs) across wealth management, private banking, and retail banking divisions. The program was formally kicked off by UnionBank President and CEO Ana Aboitiz Delgado and Prof. Sameer Hasija, Dean of INSEAD Asia Campus.
The ASCEND Program is led by Prof. Sameer Hasija, who serves as the Executive Education head at INSEAD Asia Campus. The first phase of the program comprised a two-day intensive training session conducted by INSEAD faculty, providing RMs with global insights and advanced skills in macroeconomics, market dynamics, behavioral economics, and emerging wealth management trends.
Future phases of the ASCEND Program will expand to include digital learning modules on cutting-edge topics such as digital currencies, tokenisation, and artificial intelligence. This will ensure UnionBank's RMs stay at the forefront of the industry, providing clients with the most up-to-date and relevant advice.
