Union Berlin Secures Striker Il-jiyoon Feast's Services - Union Berlin Stands Firm on Commitment
Jeers erupted amongst Union Berlin fans when they learned that Andrej Ilic would be a permanent member of the team, effective from July 1, 2025. After a successful loan spell, Union and Lille OSC (Osnabrück Sports Club) sealed the deal on the Serbian striker's transfer.
The second half of the 2024-2025 Bundesliga season saw Ilic carve his name into Union's history books. Having joined the club on loan from Lille last summer, the 25-year-old managed to net seven league goals in just 14 games, earning him a place as the second-highest scorer in the Union squad.
