Unidentified individuals set ablaze four Tesla vehicles in Berlin during the wee hours, causing destruction to three additional cars. As per police declarations, whether the four infernos, which erupted close together in roughly half an hour, are linked and the arson origins are yet to be determined.
Luckily, no casualties were reported in this incident. The state protection department of Berlin police has seized control of the investigation, according to the news reported by RBB. According to the fire department, the Teslas were reduced to ashes, with a total of 18 police units dispatched. The arson occurred between 2 and 2:30 AM.
The first vehicle ignited in flames in the Treptow-Köpenick district, prompting the damage of two nearby parked vehicles. Not long after, three more vehicles caught fire in different streets in Steglitz-Zehlendorf, with another vehicle sustaining damage. The fire department handled the blaze extinguishment, as per the police reports.
