Casual and cocky burglars prowled their way into a solar energy facility nestled near Krakow am See (district of Rostock) and purloined valuable tech equipment from the premises. The aftermath, courtesy of the victimized company, is estimated at a staggering €140,000.

The loot consisted of these so-called inverters – electric wizards that convert the direct energy produced by the solar panels into the current to be fed into the general power grid.
