Ungas 21-Under Tournament Finals Set for March 18 Showdown

The Ungas 21-Under Basketball Tournament will crown its champion on March 18, 2026, after weeks of competition. The final showdown features Tuburan 360 and Ecnet Pinamungajan, set to tip off at 9:00 PM at the Municipal Auditorium in Pinamungajan. Before the championship, Asturias Corn Ranchers and Good Shepherd Toledo will contest the third-place game at 7:00 PM.

The tournament kicked off on February 27, 2026, with ten teams split into two brackets. Organised by the Pinamungajan Sports Commission, it received backing from corporate sponsors and the local government under Mayor Glenn Baricuatro. Atty. Marvin Makiling Miralles, a Pinamungajan councilor, chaired the event, while Naknak Tan served as commissioner.

Tuburan 360 secured their finals spot with a 90-84 semifinal win over Asturias Corn Ranchers. Christian Cuevas led the charge, posting 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists, earning him Best Player of the Game honours. In the other semifinal, Ecnet Pinamungajan dominated Good Shepherd Toledo 108-81. Ralp Emerson Pono delivered a standout performance with 38 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The championship will close the tournament with Tuburan 360 and Ecnet Pinamungajan vying for the title. The third-place match precedes the final, offering Asturias Corn Ranchers and Good Shepherd Toledo one last chance to compete. Both games will take place at Pinamungajan's Municipal Auditorium.
