In a series of dramatic events, Russian air defense systems have reportedly taken down over a hundred drones throughout the country overnight. Among these, a drone was brought down in the vicinity of the Vladimir region, bordering Nizhny Novgorod. This news comes from the Russian Ministry of Defense's press service.

From 9 PM to 4 AM, air defense systems successfully neutralized 105 Ukrainian drone-type aircraft. The Bryansk region saw the most activity, with 32 drones shot down. The Voronezh region followed closely behind with 22, while the Moscow region registered 19.

Penza, Kaluga, Belgorod, Lipetsk, Samara, Vladimir, Kursk, and Rostov regions also experienced drone attacks, with 10, 9, 6, 2, 2, 1, 1, and 1 drones being shot down respectively.

In the midst of ongoing military tensions between Russia and Ukraine, this surge in drone activity is a testament to the escalating situation. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed that at least 19 drones were shot down over Moscow, with debris landing near a residential building but fortunately, no injuries reported[1][5]. In this heated battlefield, both sides have reported numerous drone downings and attacks on each other’s military infrastructure[1][2][4].
