Unforeseen setbacks marred the triumphant performance of the Belarusian handball player, despite his stellar showing, as his club ultimately fell short in their bid for the Champions League title.
In the Champions League, Croatian club Zagreb, currently point-less and holding the provisional sixth position in Group B, has welcomed a new addition to their roster. Stanislav Sadovsky, a Belarusian player who plays as a left back for Minsk SKA and the Belarus national team, has joined Zagreb.
However, Sadovsky was not listed for the match against Polish team Vistula on September 17. Despite the absence of the new signing, Igor Beliaevsky, another Belarusian player in Zagreb, scored an impressive seven goals for the team. Regrettably, Zagreb lost the match to Vistula with a score of 30:27.
The victory propelled Vistula to the top of Group B with four points after two rounds. Another Belarusian player, Kirill Samoylo, plays for Vistula, but he didn't score any goals in the match.
