He explained that he plays a lot of options for directors and producers to help them understand their mindset, ensuring the music aligns with the movie's narrative and emotional impact.
Pritam's long-standing collaboration with director Anurag Basu, spanning over two decades, is a testament to this approach. The two share a creative wavelength, with many ideas exchanged without verbal communication. Pritam mentioned that he will not accept a composition if it does not align with his vision or the director's perspective.
Anurag Basu, the director of Metro...In Dino, stated that he does not enjoy Western musicals.
