Bethpage Black, a course renowned for its challenging characteristics, is set to host the 45th edition of golf's greatest team rivalry - the Battle of Bethpage. This prestigious event, scheduled to commence later this month in New York, will see Team USA competing against their rivals, aiming to bounce back after suffering defeat two years ago in Rome.
Under Armour Golf has launched a new golf collection, the 'Warning Golf Collection', inspired by the challenges of Bethpage Black. Richard Palmer-Jones, from Under Armour Golf, has emphasised that any course with a 'Warning' should be taken seriously, and the 'Warning Golf Collection' is a way to pay respects to Bethpage Black.
The 'Warning Golf Collection' offers a bright and refreshing look, appealing to golfers who want to stand out on the course with a nod to the Battle of Bethpage. The collection includes the Playoff Warning Polo, the UA Icon Warning Hoodie, the Drive Pro Hybrid midlayer, and the Drive 5 Panel Cap.
Bethpage Black stretches over 7,400 yards and features pinched fairways, penal rough, deep bunkers, and plateaued greens. The first tee of the course displays a 'Warning Sign' that declares the course is 'only for highly skilled golfers.' The course has previously hosted numerous top-level tournaments and three Major Championships.
Over 225,000 golf fans are expected to attend the Battle of Bethpage at the end of September. The event is expected to be a memorable one, with the course's challenging characteristics providing a fitting backdrop for the intense competition.
