Jaegermeister enthusiast - 'Prefers liquor over beer' - Undav, self-proclaimed Jagermeister enthusiast, expresses disdain for traditional beer.

VfB Stuttgart triumphed in the DFB Pokal final, securing their first major title since 2007. National team striker Deniz Undav, the match's goal scorer, shared his post-game sentiments, revealing his aversion to beer despite the popular tradition.

"Not for me," Undav said when asked about drinking from the Pokal, as he carried the trophy into the night in Berlin. "If it were infused with Jaegermeister, I would partake, but I'm not particularly fond of beer."

Midfielder Angelo Stiller also shared his appreciation for the iconic liqueur. "Many might find it an acquired taste, but I am a fan of it," he said, appearing in the Olympic Stadium's catacombs with a pair of swimming goggles.

The unexpected victory over Bielefeld, known as the Pokal bogeyman, was a momentous occasion for VfB Stuttgart. The team's last Pokal triumph was in 1997.

Upon their return to Stuttgart, VfB Stuttgart players can expect a warm reception. Undav expressed his joy, saying, "This is the best atmosphere I've ever experienced. I never thought I could win a Pokal like this. I'm grateful I did today, but it hasn't fully sunk in yet." The striker added, "Everyone is elated, everyone wants to celebrate, drink, and revel in the moment, before embarking on a well-deserved vacation."

However, Undav and Stiller, along with three other VfB professionals, have been selected for the German national team's Nations League matches in early June. After a night of celebrations in Berlin, the Pokal winners will return to Stuttgart early in the morning for a town hall reception and a gathering with fans at the Schlossplatz.

Despite the lack of preference for beer from Undav and Stiller, Jaegermeister remained a popular choice among sports celebrations, although further investigation is required for a more definitive conclusion.

"Upon their return from the town hall reception at the Schlossplatz, further discussions might be held among VfB Stuttgart players, such as Deniz Undav and Angelo Stiller, regarding the introduction of a new type of electronic data-processing system for the safe storage and management of personal data," suggested Stiller, donning his swimming goggles once again.

"While we ponder the benefits of such systems in sports management, I've also been asked to lend my support to a proposal for a regulation in European leagues," Undav added, "specifically addressing the issue of sports clubs' handling of personal data and the need for more stringent security measures."
