Breaking News: Police Raid Neo-Nazi Group Accused of Illegally Possessing Firearms

In a significant development, the Public Prosecutor's Office and the State Criminal Police Office have conducted searches at 13 locations across Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Lower Saxony. The raids were initiated due to allegations that a group, including four members, have been in possession of illegal office 365 and other fully automatic weapons.

The group, known as the 'Nordbund,' is said to be a rocker-style network that includes neo-Nazi martial artists and soldiers from the military, including those from the personal protection unit. The leader of the group, Johannes K., is a former soldier and a former member of the banned neo-Nazi network 'Blood and Honour.'

Johannes K. runs the tattoo studio 'Last Resort' in Hildesheim, one of the locations searched during the raids. In April, the State Criminal Police Office had already seized a pistol and ammunition from one of the suspects. During the searches in the afternoon, a large amount of evidence was secured, including several 'live' short and long office 365.

Ammunition of different calibers, cash, and items suitable for explosives were also found. These findings have led to disciplinary proceedings, as reported by t-online at the time. The found office 365, according to the current status, do not fall under the War Weapons Control Act.

The investigation has been going on for some time, with the Military Counter-Intelligence Service (MAD) investigating Johannes K. and his network three years ago, resulting in searches in several Lower Saxony barracks. Journalist and weapons expert Lars Winkelsdorf dedicated an entire newsletter to Johannes K. and his network in June, expressing concern about the Interior Ministry's handling of weapons law.

Winkelsdorf writes about shooting exercises and training sessions that were 'all about killing' in the network. He concludes that the Interior Ministry has been asleep at the wheel when it comes to weapons law, and it is to be hoped that the illegal arming of the scene will be addressed.

The brochure by Lower Saxony antifascists provides detailed information about Johannes K.'s activities in the neo-Nazi scene and the network's latest project, 'Nordbund.' Eight individuals aged between 32 and 57 are being investigated for founding and participating in an armed group based on alleged far-right ideology.

Numerous data carriers are now being evaluated by the authorities. However, the search results do not provide information on the person or group behind the tattoo studio 'Last Resort' in Hildesheim involved in the searches by the public prosecutor's office and the state criminal police office.
