SSV Kassau's athletes shone brightly at the German Indoor Air Rifle Championships, clinching victory in the air rifle category. The championship, held in Kellinghusen, saw a number of impressive performances and qualifications for the German Championship.

In the ladies' team competition, Team I, consisting of Leonie Werner, Eyleen Heuwinkel, and Hannah Ehlers, emerged victorious. Team III, with Ann-Katrin Singpiel, Natalie Sevke, and Kimberley Lau, finished a commendable third. Team II, comprising Lina Meier, Aileen Jedtberg, and Tanja Zupke, placed a strong second.

Individually, Leonie Werner secured a spot in the DM by winning the ladies' air rifle event. Lina Meier followed closely behind in third place, while Gotje Janshen finished third among the girls in the juniors (up to 14 years) category. Lukas Büning, on the other hand, came in a close second among the boys in the same age group.

The men's air rifle event was a fierce competition. Florian Jeger took the top spot, while Markus Dietmayer finished in second place. Hannes Dohm, starting for the last time in the junior class (18-20), impressed with a third-place finish and also qualified for the DM. Andreas Berthold finished second in the men's III class (51-60 years) and also qualified for the DM. Stephan Dohm, in the same class, clinched the first place and a ticket to the DM. Bernd Klepper won the men's IV class (from 61 years) and also qualified for the DM.

Heike Henningsen became the state champion in the women's IV class, and Karin Schröder claimed the title in the women's V class.

The SSV Kassau athletes and officials not only won medals but also secured tickets for the German Championship in the air rifle event. Fabian Bahr and Leonie Straulin were among those who qualified.

However, the men's air rifle event victories may not be enough for a spot in the DM, as the qualification criteria are more complex. Nonetheless, the performances by the SSV Kassau athletes were a testament to their skill and dedication.

The SSV Kassau team can be proud of their achievements at the German Indoor Air Rifle Championships, setting the stage for further success in the German Championship.

Team I, consisting of Leonie Werner, Eyleen Heuwinkel, and Hannah Ehlers, excelled beyond expectations in sports as they won the ladies' team competition. Leonie Werner, a member of Team I, also dominated individually in sports, securing a spot in the DM by winning the ladies' air rifle event.
