released way back in 1994, this first pressing of "Dummy" came in at number ten on our list. This album won the prestigious Mercury Music Prize in 1995 - a big deal in the UK and Ireland, my friend!

9 - Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac - First Press
Flashback to the early days of Fleetwood Mac - yep, the band was formed by these dudes back in 1967! This is a Mono UK first pressing of their 1968 album. This classic was born when Green and Fleetwood, ex-Bluesbreakers members, decided to form a band, dude.

8 - Napalm Death - Scum - First Press
With only 2000 copies of this lime green first pressing initially pressed, this album has seen 16 represses in the UK. Among these, the earliest repressings came out the same year, but sported different hues for their sleeves, like gold, orange/red, and aquamarine.

7 - Rollins Band - The End Of Silence
January 2025 was a great month for alternative and heavy music, bro! This Henry Rollins Band album, "The End Of Silence," was one of the rarest versions ever pressed and demand for these 1992 issues has seen an unofficial version pressed in 2024, on orange vinyl.

6 - Black Sabbath Vol 4 - First Press
A classic is a classic, and this Black Sabbath album certainly falls into that category. Our sixth rarest record sold in January was their fourth studio album "Vol 4." This UK first pressing is one of the most coveted, with 40 versions of this album logged in Discogs.

5 - AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap - Australian Release
Originally pressed only in Australia and New Zealand, this AC/DC album is highly sought after not just by Aussies, but by international fans as well. The original release features a different track, "R.I.P. (Rock In Peace)," instead of the more common international release's "Love At First Feel."

4 - David Bowie - The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars - MFSL Press

This Quadraphonic SQ pressing of "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd, pressed in 1976, features an excellent mix of the album. Though it's a quadraphonic pressing, it can easily be enjoyed on a stereo system - the quality shines through, matey!

2 - Mother Love Bone - Apple
A truly rare release from US band Mother Love Bone, this European pressing of "Apple" was only ever produced in 1990. Between its limited release that year and its high demand now, this bad boy is a hot ticket in the vinyl world. Following the death of lead singer, Andrew Wood, the rest of the band went on to form the legendary alt-rock band, Pearl Jam.
