Chris Brown's London Arrest Re-Derails Breezy Bowl Tour
Uncertainties surrounding Chris Brown's upcoming world tour as a U.K. judge issues imprisonment order for the singer
Gear up for a wet sail, Breezy? You might wanna reconsider setting sail on that transatlantic voyage this summer, pal.
R&B heartthrob Chris Brown finds himself locked up in the Old Blighty until mid-June,ervation from charges of smashing a tequila bottle over someone’s skull in a London nightclub, according to a British judge's order. Guess that Breezy Bowl tour kickoff in Amsterdam on June 8 ain't happening, no sirree.
Mancunian law enforcement took down the 36-year-old crooner early Thursday mornin' at a hotel in Manchester. They busted him on suspicions of causing some serious bodily harm. This allegation stems from a February 2023 clash at a venue in Hanover Square.
During a hearing at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Friday, Judge Joanne Hirst snubbed Brown's bail request after prosecutor Hannah Nicholls declared this alleged crime as "extremely serious."
A rep for Brown didn't return The Times' request for comment on Friday, and Live Nation, the tour's organizer, didn't respond to The Times' inquiry regarding Brown's concerts' status.
These recent arrest details echo allegations music producer Amadou "Abe" Diaw plead in a civil lawsuit filed in October 2023. He accused Brown of assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The complaint claims Brown beat him over the head with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 Tequila at London's TAPE nightclub, causing him severe injuries.

Eyebrow-raising rendezvous behind bars: stabbing rapper Tory Lanez's assailant serves a life sentence
The man accused of sticking a shank into Tory Lanez's innards and stabbity-stabbity? That's Sabino Casio, 41, who's doin' a life tirade for murder.
In the 13-page complaint, Diaw alleges he and a pal strolled into the nightclub and noticed Brown and another artist "swaggerin' their way towards 'em like old pals." However, the good vibes didn't last long as Brown got all ragey and whacked Diaw upside the head with the tequila bottle, leaving lacerations and torn ligaments. Brown reportedly kept on batterin' Diaw, stompin' top of his head and kicking his body while he lay unconscious on the dance floor.
Nightclub staff gave Diaw the boot and transported him to a hospital. He’s been workin' on healin' his double vision and dealing with leg pain ever since.

Love turns sour and scary: Halle Bailey takes out protective order against DDG after allegations of abuse
Halle Bailey filed a restraining order against DDG, her ex-boyfriend and father of her 1-year-old child, Halo. The Twitch streamer, it seems, has been misbehaving, she says.
With nightclub surveillance cameras capturin' the bottle attack and Metropolitan Police gettin' their video-viewin' hands on the footage, maybe the truth will reveal itself. Diaw also accuses Brown and his co-defendants of spreadin' untrue rumors about him to sabotage his career.
Diaw hunts for an unspecified amount in damages exceedin' $25,000, including medical expenses, loss of wages, and whatever else the court thinks is fair. The next court date's set for May 30, with a jury trial scheduled to commence in June 2026, according to a legal database.
Ryan J. Daneshrad, an attorney for Diaw, said in a statement shared with The Times: "We can confirm that Chris Brown was involved in an incident with our client, and the injuries sustained are serious."
Danershrad added, "We're plannin' to pursue all legal remedies to hold him accountable."
This aren't the first allegations of Brown dentin' someone's face with a tequila bottle, buddy. Back in 2009, he pled guilty to felony assault related to the infamous domestic violence incident with Rihanna. In 2024 he faced a rape allegation which he denies and filed a defamation suit over.
Brown revealed plans for his Breezy Bowl 20th anniversary tour in March, announcein' he'd commence his live performance extravaganza in June. He planned to tour Europe until July, followed by stateside shows in July through September, includin' gigs at Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium.
Things might've changed, considering Brown's situation. If more information arises about cancellations, we'll be sure to update you, Breezy faire.
