Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) USA declared that three Denver, Colorado businesses might incur over $8 million in penalties due to the discovery of 143 undocumented workers at these establishments.

A staggering 143 unauthorized workers have been unearthed at three businesses in Colorado post workplace audits, leading to a whopping $8 million in fines. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Denver office handed out a notice of intent to fine CCS Denver, Inc.; PBC Commercial Cleaning Systems, Inc.; and Green Management Denver.

These fines stem from a laundry list of employment eligibility violations.

The hefty fine of $6,186,171 landed on CCS Denver's lap due to a full-blown violation rate and evidence of intentionally hiring and employing at least 87 unauthorized workers.

PBC Commercial Cleaning Systems received a penalty of $1,599,510, thanks to a 74% violation rate and the hiring of 12 unauthorized workers without proper documentation.

Meanwhile, Green Management Denver was slapped with a £270,195 fine after 44 authorized employees were identified, alongside a 100% violation rate.

Homeland Security Investigators collaborated with ICE to expose the illegal dealings at these establishments.
