In the eastern German district of Görlitz, two women found themselves in legal trouble this week.

A 23-year-old woman from Schleife, Görlitz, is facing charges for insulting and suspected violation of the Narcotics Act. The incident occurred on a train bound for Cottbus, where the woman was travelling without a ticket.

According to reports, the train attendant from Ostdeutsche Eisenbahn GmbH noticed the woman's suspicious behaviour and alerted the authorities. The woman was later apprehended in Rietschen and found to have an expired ID. During the arrest, approximately 8.7 grams of Crystal were discovered on her.

The woman's behaviour escalated further when called-out police officers from the Weißwasser station were involved. She insulted the officers, leading to additional charges. The location of the incident where she was denied further travel was Weißwasser.

In a separate incident, a 44-year-old Dutch national was reported for suspected benefit fraud. The woman, who had already travelled "for free" from Uhsmannsdorf (district of Görlitz), was travelling without a ticket on a train bound for an unknown destination.

No information about any suspected violation of the Narcotics Act was provided regarding the 44-year-old woman. The Federal Police in Ludwigsdorf are investigating the case further.

Thomas Homann, the press spokesperson of the Federal Police Inspectorate Ludwigsdorf, provided further information on both cases. The public is reminded to respect the law and cooperate with law enforcement officers to ensure a safe and orderly travel experience.
