Unannounced visit by Prince Harry to a fellow member of the British royal household.
Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, returned to the UK after a 20-month absence, spending four days in the country. The prince, who resides in the United States with his wife Meghan Markle and their children, attended events like the WellChild Awards and the Diana Awards. However, Meghan Markle did not accompany Prince Harry on this trip, staying in California. This was not the first time Prince Harry visited the UK since stepping back from his royal duties in 2020. During his stay, he paid respects to the late Duchess of Kent by visiting the Duke of Kent.
One of the highlights of Prince Harry's visit was his meeting with his father, King Charles III, at Clarence House. The meeting, lasting approximately 55 minutes, marked the first time the two had seen each other in person since 2020. Prince Harry publicly stated that King Charles III 'is doing great' after their meeting.
Prince Harry's visit to Ukraine was not his first. This time, he traveled to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, through his Invictus Games foundation. The purpose of his visit was to support wounded Ukrainian military personnel. Prince Harry promised to do everything in his power to help the recovery process for these individuals.
Interestingly, during his visit to the UK, Donald Trump also met with King Charles III and the Duke of Kent. This meeting took place alongside Prince Harry's encounter with the Duke of Kent.
It's important to note that the King was not present at any of the events that Prince Harry attended during his recent UK trip. The couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, have been living in the United States since 2020, and it remains to be seen when they will return to their royal duties.
Prince Harry's visit to Ukraine is a testament to his ongoing commitment to supporting those in need, particularly military personnel, and his dedication to the causes close to his heart.
