Musk Slams Trump's Tax Bill: A "Disgrace" and "Burden" for Citizens

Audacious Act: Details Revealed - "Unabashedly Critical": Musk Slams Trump's Tax Legislation as "Repulsive"

Kickin' it straight, here's the tea: Elon Musk, the psychiatrically-challenged CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, went ballistic on Trump's cryptically-named tax bill. 'Disgrace' and 'pork-stuffed' were his polite words for the bill that Republicans were eagerly pushing through the House of Representatives.

Musk, who's been laying low since May, aired his grievances first, decrying the bill's potential growth of the US national debt, back when it was just a draft. Fellas, he reckoned this would mess with Trump's mission to save big bucks in bureaucracy.

The very next day, Musk dropped a bomb: he was quitting his advisory position. In his latest missive, he lashed out at the bill for saddling citizens with "crushing, unbearable debts." Trump had nicknamed it the "Big Beautiful Bill," but Musk ain't feelin' it.

The bill is designed to extend Trump's tax cuts from his first term, scheduled to expire at the end of the year. To offset the cost, massive cuts to Medicaid, a healthcare program that caters to low-income folks and the elderly, are planned. Experts caution that the controversial law could swell the federal budget deficit by up to three trillion dollarydoos in the following decade.

Speechless? Don't be. Karoline Leavitt, White House spokeswoman, wasn't moved by Musk's rebukes. She insisted it wouldn't sway Trump's support for the planned law. On the brighter side, Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, felt compelled to call Musk to explain the bill draft. Johnson, who's chummy with Musk, said he was confident Musk understood the law after their 20-minute phone call.

Musk and Trump have a long history. From the Oval Office to Air Force One, Musk was Trump's go-to guy – even introducing his four-year-old son in the Oval Office. However, Musk bailed in May, saying he'd completed his work for the government but vowing to remain a friend and advisor to the President.

Musk's governmental stint didn't go as planned. He aimed to save $2 trillion with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), but apparently, only a small fraction of that was achieved. With billions of dollars slashed from spending and personnel, critics claim that layoffs and inefficiency outweighed the savings.

Ain't got time to care though, because Tesla's in a pickle. They're facing revenue losses and profit declines, and SpaceX's ninth test flight of the Starship rocket failed recently. Musk's refocusing on his companies, but there's a storm brewing in the financial sector.

Elon Musk, in a scathing critique, labeled Donald Trump's tax law as a "disgrace" and a "burden" for citizens, criticizing its potential debilitating impact on the US national debt. Amidst this, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla has announced his resignation from his advisory role, voicing his disapproval of the bill's proposed 'crushing, unbearable debts' for citizens. This bill, aimed at extending Trump's tax cuts, has been met with criticism for its planned massive cuts to Medicaid, with potential consequences such as swelling the federal budget deficit. The controversial law is under intense scrutiny, with experts warning of up to three trillion dollars in additional debt within the next decade.
