New blood in the panel

The big announcement for this season is that three-time Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Kelly Rowland will be joining the judges' panel, filling the shoes vacated by LeAnn Rimes.

Rowland soared to fame in the 1990s as a member of global pop supergroup Destiny's Child, renowned for hits like "Bootylicious," "Bills, Bills, Bills," and "Survivor." As a solo artist, she's sold over 40 million records worldwide and brought us hits such as "Dilemma" (collaboration with rapper Nelly), "Work," and David Guetta dance anthem "When Love Takes Over."

Rowland isn't new to the Voice family, owing to her four-season stint as a judge on The Voice Australia (2017-2020).

In the show's seventh season, she became the winning coach as two of her contestants, Sam Perry and Bella Paige, made it to the finals, with Sam emerging victorious while Bella took the runner-up title.

Presenter Emma Willis will continue her role as host for this 14th series, overseeing the blind auditions as the singers compete to secure the attention of the superstar coaches.

As singers take the stage to perform, the coaches remain seated with their backs to them. If the coaches are impressed, they have the option to press their button and turn their big red chair. If multiple coaches turn, the singer has the power to choose which team they'd like to join.
